Earthquake in Nevada Queston ??
HELLO NEVADA!
I am not sure where to post this . I apologize in advance, if I am in the
wrong area...
I was wondering how the people in Elko Nevada are doing after the
earthquake?? I hope that there was not too much damage or losses.
Was it felt all over the State??
How about the Reno, Tahoe, Carson City areas??
I read somewhere that it was felt all the way
to Southern California???.....
Hopefully everyone is doing well

Wasn't there a rather long thread here this morning about the earthquake?
I'm almost positive I posted here about it but now can't find that thread.
Anyway, i'm visiting from CA and I'm up in Blaine County ID and I felt my bed rocking/swaying this a.m and was totally confused. If I were back in California "earthquake" would have been the first thing to enter my mind but here? wow. I know there are faults everywhere but sure didn't expect a 6.0 coming out of Wells. Lots of people felt it in Idaho and they felt it in Salt Lake too.

We're in Spring Creek and we felt it very strongly. Everyone did around here. The house was rockin'! Got a nice new crack in the ceiling.

There have been several threads in several state and city forums, rubyskye. I think the one you started is in the Idaho forum.
Actually, since the epicenter was up in northeastern Nevada, parts of southern Nevada hardly felt it. Some in the Las Vegas area didn't feel it at all. The largest population center to the epicenter is SLC so that's where most of the news reporting from local media is taking place.

i must have been dreaming 'cause it was a relatively long thread that someone already had started and i swore it was on the Nevada forum and some guy was joking that it wasn't an earthquake but the satellite coming down. oh well .... doesn't matter. glad no-one was injured.

We are also in Spring Creek and were rockin' and rollin'! At first I thought it was either Flight for Life flying low over the house or the kids and animals running through the house raising h*** like they are prone to do! Wells Nevada got hit hard, thankfully only a couple of people were hurt.

Oh, you're thinking of the one in the Las Vegas forum.
Yeah, the best thing about this whole incident is that nobody was seriously injured.
