Does anyone have any leads regarding any online postings, or books which detail Old Las Vegas restaurant recipes? I can't help but think that ask establishments such as The Green Shack, or Sill's Drive-In, Alpine Village (some of their stuff can be located), The Round-Up Drive-In, or any of the timeless places which existed within the casinos simply vanished.

I searched rather thoroughly both Vegas newspapers, this forum and even the web.

Thanks in advance!

After reading my initial post aloud, I'm modestly embarrassed by the grammatical errors. Nevertheless, it should read " I can't help but think that as establishments such as The Green Shack, Sill's Drive-In, Alpine Village, The Round-Up Drive-In, or any of the timeless cafes or restaurants which existed within the casinos simply vanished along with their recipes."

Alpine Village.

Try Face Book. I see those things on there sometimes. When you find the cookbook for the Aku Aku in the old Stardust, let me know. I want some of their curry, and their teriyaki steak for old times sake.
