Default Carson City question
Could anyone tell me if Carson City NV has condos? I'm looking for a retirement area and thought Carson City looked nice. I may even want to buy a little house instead. What kind of money is asked for a 2 bedroom house....nothing beautiful.......but descent. How are the taxes?

If there somewhere on the internet I might be able to find some pictures of Carson City? And maybe Elko...........that's another place I'm thinking about.

I appreciate any help I can get......Thank you

search "Carson City, NV - Profile" you will get all kinds of information and do the same for Elko. You will get your desired pictures and probably more information than you wanted.

Two bedroom condos start at around $140K.

Manufactured homes start in the low $100K (2,3+ bedrooms).

Frame built homes (traditional) are starting in the $130-150K range.

If you go a little East (Dayton and Stagecoach - 12-18 miles), prices will go down.

For photos, the best site I've seen is a community blog called "aroundcarson". mod cut: link removed

A lot of the photos are historical shots but there are current photos too.

Elko is in a different MLS system from Carson City so you will probably need to find resources local to Elko for housing information there.

prices could not possibly be that high unless there was zoning limiting the supply or density! NO ZONING!!!!
