One side says says it's the right thing to do and it will move us more towards solar/green energy and create jobs. The other side says look at what deregulation did to California, if we pass this our electric bills will go up 50%. NVEnergy is against it so that may mean I should support it!

When I lived in Texas, they had deregulation about 10-15 years ago. The bill was similar to higher for 2 years at the beginning due to lack of new companies coming in. But price in TX now is much lower now compared to 10 year ago.

With NV abundant sunshine, I think price will be cheaper with deregulation.
