Royal Peacock Opal Mine (shop, hot , town)

Located in NW Nevada. Can anyone give me info about going to this mine. Sure we understand that there will be plenty of sun. We were thinking about 3 guys from Mo coming out to have some fun. Any tips on where we should shop before getting there? Tips and heads up on unknown things would be greatly appreciated.

58 miles in Nevada back country is nothing. That's one part of Nevada I haven't been to yet and always wanted to see it. Glad I ran across your post. I might just have to go there now.

Here ya go Buzz123! After the Royal Peacock Mine; just swing down into Arkansas and pick up a Diamond or two! I went and it only took me 20 minutes to pick up a 1/4 carat gem worth about $75.00. They have some real whoppers as well.
