I fell madly in love with this stretch and just curious if anyone here lives around this most beautiful area on earth...

This area until recently was called Crested Acres and there is nothing there except a trailer park visible from the freeway.

Next time you're in the area, drive south from Wells on hwy 93 into Clover Valley - a beautiful place with ranches along the east side of the Ruby Mountains .

Thanks for the tip. Last time I drove the stretch of I 80 in that area the predominate colors were pale yellow and pink, and I kept getting distracted from driving by the incredible beauty there.

Also a few miles south of Wells on hwy 93, there is Angel Lake. The road is paved all the way to the lake and there is a campground there Angel Lake, Elko County, Nevada. Also in the area is Ruby Mountain Brewing Company, making Nevada's best beers and ales..

Next time you drive through Elko, take a short drive out to the village of Lamoille. I think there is a bed and breakfast place there. Lamoille, Elko, Elko County, Nevada. Beautiful country!!
