Henderson is basically Las Vegas, just south of the airport with some very nice neighborhoods. And you're right - the prices have become very attractive, down to 2004 levels by many estimations. |

I agree and can't believe someone would say something like that. To the OP, Boulder City would be your best bet. It is pretty, nice homes, should have activities for a 13 year old or is close enough to what you are looking for. Henderson is fine, but just an extension of Vegas as far as I am concerned.

Eh, no, still not quite, 'capt.
I'm no fonder of Mesquite than Pahrump. Each has its different good and bad points.
But the most important thing ...my being a moderator doesn't mean I'm right or wrong in my opinion. It's just an opinion just like any other member. Nobody has to agree with my opinion. However, we all express ourselves like our opinions are the truth and I'm as guilty as the next. The reader has to determine what opinion they want to believe.
