LOL! Dark Chewy water. Yum!

Seriously though, it might be time to look into investing in a water filter if you're worried TigerBeer:

I assume Carson City has the same water source as Reno, and we're just fine here.

San Francisco's tap water is excellent. In a blind taste test it was rated just as high as expensive bottled water.

People who come to Las Vegas to do some heavy partying and drinking will say over and over again, on their return flight, to the annoyance of the flight attendants: My liver! My liver! My liver!

Little do they know, it wasn't the alcohol, they drank some tap water while they were here!

I don't know about Houston, but I know that Tampa and San Diego and probably many other dryer western cities recycle and reuse a lot of their water. National Geographic actually had a recent article that mentioned even the wastewater from toilest in California is recycled, its in that special water issue, where the author visited a facility in San Diego or somewhere else in Southern California. I've noticed most of the cities on the worst list are in the Southwest with a lot of water shortages. I think Tampa has shortages too, its on the coast but doesn't have a lot of FRESH water.
