Default Palmilla or Copper Creek Estates

Hello, just moved to Vegas this week and I'm looking at two different places, a condo in Palmilla Townhomes and a house in Copper Creek Estates.

Can anyone tell me about either one of these places? The area around Palmilla Townhomes (89086) seemed to be a bit nicer in general and in regards to shopping selection but both are in gated communities.

Copper Creek Estates (89122) is down by the Silver Bowl and we'd get a large 4 BR home but the area didn't seem to be as good. It seemed like the area on Boulder Highway was relatively rough from what I could see.

Anyway, I appreciate the help in advance.

There are worse areas than Boulder Hwy, but I am familiar with the Copper Creek area. There are mainly new homes around Copper Creek. That area should be fine, that is the nicest part of Boulder in my opinion.

What kind of shopping did you find in 89086? That zip code is a little empty. There is some nice shopping on Nellis, Boulder, Tropicana, Maryland, Pecos, and on Sunset as well, which are all close to Copper Creek.

89086 would be a better area residential and crime-wise, but not shopping-wise.

Give it time, more shopping will come. We had to wait several years for shopping in our area of 89084.
