Why would you NOT visit the communities and make that determination for yourself? Ultimately, your opinion is the only one that counts! Based on your previous posts, "shaking the tree" appears to be a pointless exercise in futility.

A nice house costs twice as much in BC as in Mesqute. If you can afford it BC by miles. If yoo can't than it is Mesquite or Pahrump. Mesquite is much more riefined...and expensive.

Boulder City, without a doubt. But Mesquite has many positives as well, and without knowing exactly what you are looking for, it's difficult to say.

My family would live in Boulder City but we found what we thought was a better deal in Summerlin....while Summerlin was outstanding for raising our daughter, in hindsight we wish we would have moved down to Boulder City instead. But that's just our $0.02, FWIW.

I have friends who live around Mesquite, and they love it there. The previous posters have the best advice: visit both to see for yourself.

Think you should consider mesquite over BC, there are plenty of options for fun, lake powell, skiing at brian head, and there is plenty of building going on around scenic az just outside of Mesquite,
