3 years ago or so the average home price there was $300,000. Now it is $100,000. While the real estate "back to reality" bust has made values fall, I do not know of anyplace outside of Detroit that has fallen like Moapa Valley has! Why??

Comeon guys. Moapa is Moapa. They don't do in things like housing bubbles.

The last half of 2008 had a median of 205K. The first half of 2009 was at $200K.

The average was not so good...234K versun 192. A lot of that though was that the big places are not selling.

But Moapa ain't hurting relatively to the rest of Clark County.
