Hey PDX.
I've seen some condos around $525. Housing costs are a joke, but rent seems to be resonable. JQuest |

I live in Bullhead City, AZ, in the "tri-state" area where AZ, CA and Nevada all "meet" along the Colorado River. Bullhead City, Fort Mohave, and Mohave Valley are all growing TOO FAST! We all get stuck in bumper-to-bumper traffic on Hwy 95. Lake Havasu City is growing FAST TOO!! Laughlin is growing faster and faster now! We have lived here since 1993 and can't wait to get out!! Have you heard about all of the "snow-birds" who spend the winters here? If you have any specific questions, I'll be glad to help! Thanks, Claire |

Hi Clair.
Are you still in BHC? Any changes there lately? I love the desert but don't want to be part of a congested town. I can't believe how much the population has grown. Where are all these people coming from. I have been researching everywhere. Even up north. I think were competing with rabbits. |

Oops! Sorry that it's taken me so long to write back. I'm usually really prompt. Sorry!! Thanks for writing. There are mega housing developments planned for the whole area....BHC, Kingman, even Laughlin. (50,000 homes in one tract...20,000 homes in another development, 80,000 homes in another development & on & on!) A lot of the new residents come from CA, and others are snow-birds who decide to live here permanently, etc. Some are 2nd homes, etc. We are already congested, and don't have the roads in place to handle this type of growth. It's horrible! I live in BHC, have been here since the early 90's. It's sad to see the area change so much. We're thinking of moving to rural Kansas soon. Can't handle all this growth. Hope this helps! Sorry it took me so long to write back. I will check back more often from now on....Claire |

Moving from Henderson to Mesquite next month. Love the excitement of Las Vegas and direct flights from McCarran but hated the pollution and traffic frenzy on a daily level. Picked up a house in Sunset Greens for about half the cost of the same situation in Antham or Henderson. The one hour drive to new North Las Vegas will be short and sweet as shopping and services arrive there along the 215 beltway. Otherwise everything we need is here and growth is steady, not ravenous. I don't yet golf either. Rich
