Hi again, Johnny. If you're referring to Lake Havasu City, then you possibly may get more responses in the Arizona forum.

Lake Havasu City is on the Arizona side of the Arizona/California border with the Colorado River being the dividing line at the point of Lake Havasu.
I believe there's a town on the California side of Lake Havasu called Havasu Lake. I think it's just a small Native-American resort ...I've never really been there, just heard about it.
Up the river a bit, you'll have the Colorado dividing Nevada and Arizona with Laughlin on the Nevada side and Bullhead City on the Arizona side.

We meet again
Thanks 'rocco
There seems to be more population and a little more business to work with in LHC. I've already had a couple job offers there. I don't seem to find much in Mesquite. Maybe I'm missing something, or not looking in the right places. I will still be venturing to Mesquite because its seems so nice there. I would have no problem settling down there as well. BUT, I need to make a living and technology is my forte. Maybe I can do my webdesigns from there. BHC is not getting very good reviews. I have chatted with many locals there and the negative seems to outweigh the positive.
Just keeping options open. I know I will be moving within the tri-state area. Weahter I work for a company or start my own. I need to be sure.
Thanks again 'scrocco for all insight. I'm always reading.

Yup, not that much hi-tech opportunities as far as being employed by a firm in Mesquite. Good entrepreneurial opportunities exist however.
What's the "tri-state" area?

JohnnyQuest,
Would you mind sharing some of the good and bad information you've learned about BHC with me?
I've made contact with one guy in particular who has been very helpful but he sounds pretty soured on the area now mainly because he works outside in the heat all day.
By the way, I considered Lake Havasu City at one point. I've heard LHC is very much like Bullhead City in terms of weather and residents except that LHC gets swarmed on by boaters and partiers largely from California who make it difficult to move around town or rest due to their noise. BHC is supposedly more subdued and yet has Laughlin right over the border and Vegas 80 miles away to go party if desired.

Good entrepreneurial opportunities
Thanks 'rocco
Yeah maybe I should try to start up another store front. Can you PM some ideas for what might be in demand there? What does Mesquite really need at this point?
Tri-State? It's the area right around the 3 states. Boulder City, Laughlin, BHC are all within the tri-state area. Like the four corners. PHX, CO, NM and Utah.
Chat later

Tri-State
'rocco
I was thinking about Nevada/Arizona/Calif but I didn't even think about Mesquite being within 3 states as well. Nevada/Arizona/Utah. So technically Tri-Sate is living close to those type of junctions.
BTW I PM'd you about what you just answered. So disregard. Thanks again. Looking forward to spending some time there very soon.
Johnny

Hey scirocco22, What are some average apartment rent prices in Mesquite, for 2-3 bedrooms? I'm trying to find someplace my wife and I can afford to live...
Thanks
