Default Bunkerville, NV memories...

I'm 45 years old and I've lost my parents in the past two years. All of these old memories keep flooding my mind. One memory was when I was quite young my grandmother, on my father's side, decided to pick up from Provo, UT and move to Bunkerville. She had a nice manufactured home on a huge lot and all in all I think she liked it...but I'm not sure. My grandma was tough...she divorced young, which was unheard of in those days, and raised 8 kids by herself. She was a woman of little words and I remember getting a bible with my name on it one Christmas. She was Morman I think but she never discussed religon or much of anything else. Her father had two wives and 22 children in all.
I remember visiting her in the summer and the days would get to be about 115 degrees. She lived across from, I want to say Leavitt park, but the name is vauge. I have a photo somewhere around here with that name on it but I don't know exactly where the photo is.
There was a cattle farm across from the park and once in awhile a tractor like machine would pick up a cow by its hoof and all of the other cows would moo like crazy and be very upset. I always thought a cow was too stupid to realize that was upsetting to see another cow in trouble but I learned they weren't as stupid as I thought.
I remember frogs would be squished all over the road and my father told me that the road was so hot they'd get fried before they reached the other side.
We went to the lake one time and it was as warm as soup. Can't remember the name.
There was a little boy down the street named Danny Dalton and he'd spend good amounts of time almost everyday talking to my grandma. She'd say "I can never hear a **** thing he is saying" because she was hard of hearing. But she'd always just let him jabber on.

Being from large city in WA state this was all pretty sureal for me.
Oh Bunkerville, I'd love to see you again.
