My wife grew up in Tonopah. As soon as she was old enough to leave home she headed to Las Vegas. I married her and brought her to Washington state. The only time I could get her back to Nevada was when our daughter had a Drill team competition in Reno. We flew in watched the competition, and flew out.

Default Tonopah

I go through there occasionally on my motorcycle and get a room for the night. Uh, not much there to speak of. Area 51 is close by, Death Valley to the south. And there is some very cool gold mining history their. You better check it out before you pull the trigger. I think that It would take a unique kind of person to make it in Tonopah.
