Hello, my name is Dustin Beckhorn, and I'm considering moving to the Carson Valley. I used to live in Fallon, but it is this area beside the Sierras and Lake Tahoe that I truely love. The only thing that I'm wondering is, how difficult is it for an electrician to find a job around here? I've done nothing but electrical work for the past 10 years, I am a certified journeyman competent in all aspects of my trade, currently working on a master's license in the state of North Carolina. If you know anything about my line of work and job availability in this area, please respond. Thank You!

To put it bluntly, Nevada is likely the WORST state in the entire country for electricians at this point in time. Tradesman are moving away in droves. There is no more work, and will not be for years if not decades. The over building in NV was almost criminal.
