Default North Carolina Transplants

I hear a lot of people from Charlotte relocate to Nevada? Is this true? If so, how do you feel about your decision to move to Nevada? Do you miss Charlotte?

my cousins from charlotte moved there about 6-7 years ago. they dont miss a thing, except the food. they talk all the time about how they miss bojangles, chick-fil-a, sundrop etc. but other then that. they are very happy. when they come back to visit, they complain about how boring charlotte is, and how humid it is.

I kept hearing about Bojangles but I am not a fast food eater, but I knew I wouldn't be living in the south forever so I gave it a shot. It was OK. I liked the chicken a lot, but the biscuits were not good, and im a carbs person so.... lol the food is different everywhere!

Personally, i would move back to South Carolina if I could, humidity and all... there are lots of things i would miss from both places... but the beach id take in a heartbeat over the desert...

Westcoastbabe, my mother left Atlanta for the west coast in 1947, she has been very happy here, and for the last 20 years would not go back to the South in the Summer, at all.

Summer in the South as you know, is unpleasant.
