Default Concord--safe city?

We've decided to concentrate on Concord now (more population so hopefully more job prospects). Would living in Concord be safe? Are there 'bad parts' to avoid?

If anyone actually lives in Concord or near by, I'd love to hear more. (school info is very important as we have an 8 year old). Thanks.

unkamk is on a distinguished road
I'd suggest looking into pembroke and suncook--2 towns 1/2 way between manchester and concord---a 10 minute commute to each---low crime and affordable---also 2 growing towns---Concord is just OK---I'm in Derry--you should look into this town also---good luck
