How do you rate the average overall restaurant quality in NH or your town in NH based on factors such as taste, value, choices and QUALITY OF SERVICE? This does not include fast food restaurants.

I went better than average since I dine in the Lakes Region mostly, and I think there is some extra effort there to cater to a mostly tourist clientele. The excellent Common Man family of restaurants brings the score up.

Compared to most other rural areas of the US, I'd say better than average. We don't have as many chain / fast-food places and the tourists & wealthy retirees drive the demand for higher quality local restaurants. Of course, compared to urban areas like Boston, the selection is much more limited, particularly when it comes to international / ethnic cuisines. Overall, I'd say average.
