Default Exeter/Seabrook/Hampton area

Just got a job at Seabrook and have a few questions:

1--Are there any affordable or semi-affordable apartments available on short-term leases? I'm moving out there for a couple of months while the wife stays behind and sells our house, then she'll move out here.

2--Given the winters, etc., would I be better off living in an area like Exeter, or is living in the Dover/Portsmouth area feasible? I've lived in snowy areas before, just not for a while lately.

Good morning!

I found one for you. [mod cut]. This is the time of year when you can get a short term lease because the beach people all go home and they rent to people like you just looking for a place for the winter months in to the early spring. So it's an ideal time to pick up a place. This one is pretty reputable to deal with.

If that one didn't work out let me know, or what you should do is see if this Betty Labranche Real Estate can get one for you. I would say that they'll be your best bet. It's this time of year like I said when you'll have no problem finding a short term.

OR go in to the site Craigslist dot org...I saw a condo right on Ocean Blvd. on it from September to June. Just go to either of these sites, they're both very good, although that first one sounds perfect for you right in Hampton! Take a look to see what you think. If I were you I'd live right at the beach for a few months. That way you're right near your new place of employment in Seabrook and the closer you are for the winter months around here the better off you'll be, trust me on that! You don't want to deal with too much of the snowy stormy weather too much; it's bad enough that it's freezing cold! The closer you are during these months, the better off you'll be! You'll really appreciate it even more when your home is ready to move in to!

GOOD LUCK! Keep us posted!

Much appreciated. I'm finding a lot of the rental companies and managed properties don't even want to talk to you if you're not willing to sign a 12-month lease.

Now if the realtors will talk to me about my buying a house. But if everyone out there is doing so well they can walk away from a 3 percent commission on a house, that's not my problem.
