Arrow Divorced woman/no kids desperate to relocate.

Please help me find a home for myself and my pets. I'm looking for a larger city near the mountains. Of course, I'll need a job and an apartment. Problem is...I don't have much money. I'll work 2 jobs if I have to so I can make this work. Any ideas??

Merrybelle, I understand where you're coming from completely. I don't live back in NH yet, but I can tell you what I'm doing to try to relocate if it helps. Find a larger city on google map then use craigslist to read the jobs available for that area to get an idea. Craigslist also has apartments with information including some with pictures. Some places are fully furnished and great for kids on that list I've seen. I have pets too and some places are absolutely NO PETS on their policies, but I have seen rent-to-own places if you have credit problems and can't buy a home. At least not right away. Those take pets because you're applying to buy the home eventually. Otherwise there are apartments all over the state advertised here.

From that information you might can find the answers you seek? Good luck to you, I'm trying to do the same thing from Illinois, and without actually staying there with relatives to get situated, it will be quite a challenge.

It has helped a lot reading through the forums here from various places to get the information I need about locations. The people who post here are just wonderful people. They often post this link, it helped me a lot.

Hi Katlakat,
Thanks for your advice. I've never heard of Craigslist but I will definitely go there when I'm finished here. Lets keep in touch maybe we can be friends eventually. I'm glad I'm not the only one trying this crazy stunt. My family thinks I have lost my mind.
Merrybelle
