Thanks for all the comments. I am doing this trip next month for the first time. This was really, really helpful, specially the comments about the hotel in NC since I am traveling with a child and a dog. I will take the same route as Steph (93S to 495 to 90 to 84 to 287 to 78 to 81 to 77 to 26 and then hopping back on 95 in South Carolina) and leave at 3AM. I am thinking about getting a Sun Pass online to save time once I am in FL.

There are lots of routes but no easy way to drive from NH to Fl. Been there and done that too many times.

Safe travels Merc2011. The good thing about the hotel besides that it's clean/safe is that there is a shopping plaza right next to it with Little Caesars, a grocery store and a couple of other food places. Let me know if you have any other questions.

I just got the Sunpass Mini it was only $4.99 and you get a $4.99 credit to you account so it's free.

As mentioned above. Just put Scranton into the GPS. Then Florida destination. Avoids much.
