I thought Weare had a small food coop? That town is becoming more suburbanized, and I wouldn't be surprised if they built a grocery store in the next 5-10 years.

The folks that complain about race track, airplane, train noise and no stores or spa's or whatever after they move in are used to having things their way and do not see why that should stop. After their entire universe only contains themselves and anything they want. I think it is called narcissism.

Chamomile is on a distinguished road
I am familiar with Weare (we have several friends who are lifelong residents there) and I think a smaller, boutique-style grocery store (like the newer Harvest grocery store in Bedford) would fit in well and be beneficial to the residents. I am all for co-ops and farmer's markets and so-forth, and I patronize them, but the right kind of grocery store, in the right location, could be a real improvement, I think.

A huge big-box style grocery store like Hannaford or Shaws, though, complete with a huge parking lot and toy-truck-style shopping carts, would seem obtrusive and out-of-place in Weare, and besides that the current population could not financially support it (thank goodness!) and I agree that propective residents should consider that before moving in.
