Hi countrylv22 - As you know, were in Littleton . We use Time-Warner Cable for our internet, television and telephone and have not had any problems with any of the services, except one day and the tech was here within 2 hours of me calling about the problem and had us back up and running within 30 minutes.
I know Verizon had DSL in certain parts of Littleton when we first moved here, not sure if they still do. I'm also not sure, but I think Verizon is being "replaced" by Fairpoint at some point, but haven't really paid attention to that, since we are happy with Time-Warner.
Our friend in Bethlehem (right in the town) also uses Time-Warner (used to be Adelphia).

countrylv22 - One thing to do before you decide on a place to live, would be to call the companies in the area and see how far they cover - for example, when we first moved here, the house we rented was about 5 miles from town. When we asked the town if they had DSL or cable internet, they said yes.....they didn't lie - they did, however the DSL didn't extend out to where we were <g>.....the DSL was in the process of expanding, but hadn't yet, so we either had to go with cable internet or satellite.
I don't know if it's the same way south of us, but it wouldn't hurt to check it out, just the same.
