LOL Took a another ride in the rain yesterday, A ride happens on a motorbike. On a bike you can smell the fresh cut hay, and even the rain.
I had planned to hit up Colebrook, but never got past Lancaster LOL I had a mini chore that changed nature totally. Ended up spending a lot of hours more on the chore. Came back down state in the evening by way of Littleton to I 93 which is narrow and wild for a interstate and crossed the Kanc in the driz/fog. Wicked good day.

Gee Mac you are making me jealous...lol...a ride through the Kanc would be like a 32 or so mile trip to Heaven for me right about now !!! I owned a small house in N Conway prior to moving here and slap myself daily for selling it. It abutted Stonehurst Manors property and whittiker wood x country ski/hiking trail, so it was as though it was all my back yard. Boy do I miss it now, on a day off I would have gone to the Met for coffee with my dog, brought him down for a quick dip in the river, gone onto Sherman farms then back down westside rd to hit Weston Farms stand, another quick dip and walk on way home for my buddy (my dog), hang out at home and do some serious cooking!!........instead, I went to superwalmart to get a few items and was behind people in the express line that had well over the 20 items and less...lol...and it seemed everyone but me had one of those American flag credit cards (it took me 8 months down here to realize that they were food stamp cards, only because I asked what the were... I thought at first they were a NC credit card that people chose from their bank - honest I did - True Story...lol....)... but that is OK, it is what it is and I will get back to NH and never leave again !!! Glad you had a Great day!!!!!

I have lived in the Portsmouth/Dover area for many years which is awesome but absolutely love the more northern part of NH, in a perfect world I would like to go back to N Conway or the lake region or even on the other side of the Kanc but life being as it is and work being a definate issue, not to mention housing, I am still planning that out. Hopefully north of Concord.

I haven't been shopping in a store in a while and so hadn't noticed flag cards. Tawk about Uncle in everyone's wallet......
Yeah the NH rain ain't too bad. It's clear untill it mixes with bugs on the windscreen, Seems to come down nearly straight, but there is a little angle to it. Feels wet. Slightly cooling, not to bad as I said.
Today seems to be scattered light with a mix of clouds. I peeked out the window since I am not real sure about how safe that white ball looking thing is, to be out and under. Say you wouldn't know what that is would ya?
I know most of them places, would it help if I went and got pictures?
Just incase:
Sugar Hill
Oldie on my bike 'Liberty' lookin' at Mt Chocorua
My idea of a pet rock
and the Kanc near it's summit pass

NICE Pictures !!!!! Actually I would take the bugs up there any day, blackflies and all!! We have 'other' bugs here and NO they don't mix with the rain on windshields but they are worse...Cockroaches and it doesn't matter how clean you are or where you live - they Are Here......personally, I would much rather have the occassional bear wandering through my back yard than cockroaches in my bathroom drains....With that said, there are positives to Raleigh, the sun does seem to shine all the time ( I think that is what jaap24 meant when she said 'lack of daylight'?? - and it is Awesome but then there are times like each day in May through September that you just wish it would STOP because it only helps to make the humidity and heat Worse. The first summer I was here, when they called for thundershowers, I thought Great - A cool down........I quickly found out that rain here in the summer made it a living sauna Hell........ anyway, Have a Great Day and enjoy 'my' state.....lol.....!!!!! PS ~ whether you have been to the store lately or not, I am thinking that a lot of NH residents don't carry 'the flag' card, I think that is only given out to people living in 'entitlement' states such as NC that carry huge state taxes to provide for their welfare programs.. although I may be wrong.

Haha, I thought the same thing when I read Jaap24's comment! Lack of daylight? Must be people who have lived in the South for a long time thinking that a cloudy week or 2 per month is atrocious. I heard on the news last year that New England has notably more sunny days throughout the fall and winter than other northern states and most states in central US.
Maybe people from the South think that the New England climate is like this most days of the week: New England's Dark Day - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Aptor that is my 2nd bike. It's real old 1981, and has both a starter motor and a kick start. I probably coudn't kick start the 1600 Nomad I ride most of the time. The Sugar Hill pic is from last week, the rest are real old, but I still have Liberty. My pet rock is safe from theft too
At risk of the mods banning me for getting OT
This is Liberty closer up....... No one can see this unless they walk up close.
