I do not have personal experience with either school district, but have only heard good things about Bow high school. The principal who started Bow HS 9 years ago was selected to start the new Bedford HS, due to the great job he did at Bow.

For Bow--- Welcome to BowNET - Home of the Bow School District

For Hopkinton--- Hopkinton School District - SAU 66 - Hopkinton, NH

I've been looking for homes in both areas due to my two children, one in elementary school and one in Junior High. Both schools are getting good reports. Another area I've been looking at is Bedford. They just opened a new High School just like east2west said.

Hi, I've lived in Contoocook (which is a township of Hopkinton) for many years. I don't have kids, but I do know that both school systems are excellent. You will find that both towns are also a bit "upscale", and the real estate prices and taxes reflect this and the good schools (Hopkinton's school budget per thousand is about twice the state average!). If you are more of a blue collar type family, you may want to look into Contoocook or the Hooksett end of Bow. Taxes and such are the same, but these areas aren't quite so "yuppified". No offense intended to the white collar folks!
