Greg, I am not sure but I think it is the old, very old Rt 1 bridge, built long before the new I-95 bridge. It was built wrong in the first place and in a time when boat traffic wasn't what it is now.

A sand box pram with a stick sail causes that bridge to stop traffic and raise the deck flat, up high. Good ridance.

It is the old Rte 1 bridge from Strawberry Bank side to down by the Shipyard. Just take the 95 bridge - it's better

About the last time I used that bridge was when the new one was built. I don't live near there, and it's about 80 miles oneway. Sometimes if I am coming up out of Mass I will if i want to go to Kittery, but normally I take back roads off the Spaulding to get to Kittery.

Pedestrians and cyclists can still cross the old Rt 1 bridge.
