I posted earlier about moving from Orlando to NH. After doing a lot of research, I have really come to like Littleton. We have 2 kids. 1 year old, and 4 year old. Is this a good town for kids to grow up in? Any pros or cons? Thanks!

Littleton is a nice community. Small but active. They have a great downtown with good businesses. Just don't try to drive through it around lunchtime. Very congested with traffic. They have an active sports program (little league, soccer, etc) for kids. They are well located in the northern part of the state but right on I93. Some big box stores if you are in to that kind of thing. Great outdoor recreation potential. I often work up in that are and find excuses to visit some of the shops.

At 6,000 year round residents, it's a bit too big for me. Winters are a bit more severe than the southern part of the state and it can snow in "The Notch" anytime between late September and late May.

Have you ever been to Littleton?

Or are you just reading about Littleton?

Best to make a visit first.
