I have not eaten at Harts. However they have catered my company Christmas party for years and also catered our company bbq. I really love their food. I always mean to get to the actual resturant but have not yet.

Stopping at Harts for lunch or dinner is always something to look forward to when we're in the Meredith area. The menu is so vast that there is something for the pickiest eater. Every time I've been here, the food has been excellent. Which is surprising, considering its size... Have never done the Lakeside Dinner Train. We have gone out on some of the dinner cruises on the MV Mount Washington (departs from Weirs Beach) the food is typical buffet fare, but well prepared and tasty. We've brought the older kids along to this, and the boat is big enough that they don't get bored with the adult talking/dancing going on...

Whenever we head up to Laconia Bikeweek we'll stop there for lunch while in the area. You didnt specify if the food was OK or not, I'm guessing just a survey?

I've never been to Hart's Turkey Farm Restaurant in Meredith. BUT I can tell you that I do go to the FUNSPOT at WEIRS, which is near it and Hart's Turkey Farm caters their lunch and dinners right in their bingo hall on weekends all the time! Outside of my own turkey dinner cooking? I wouldn't get a turkey dinner any where else BUT at Hart's Turkey Farm Restaurant because they're the best around and you won't go wrong having lunch or dinner here. Trust me, they have the best turkey dinners in all of New England! Have a wonderful time!

Oh those turkey pot pies are to die for. We used to stop after a day fishing on the lake in the fall and bring home a couple of pot pies. I would highly recommend Hart's.
We have never been on train for dinner but it's a lot of fun in the winter when they do the polar express!

I've eaten at Hart's several times in the past... and the food and service has always been excellent. They also catered the "Murder Mystery" train that went along the lake shore, and the food on that (as well as the entertainment) was great. One of these days I'll break out of my "rut" and get something other than the turkey dinner, but not yet... My friends have tried several of the other main courses and thought they also were great. (My dessert has always been "to-go" for some reason). Enjoy!

Wow, now I cant wait to get up there and try the turkey dinner. The turkey looked so yummy on the Food Network. With all the wonderful recomedations, my family and I are sure to visit there. Can anyone tell me how far it is from Keene?
