Hi, I need a foliage update for Mt Monadnock area. I am considering hiking it Tuesday 10-18 or thursday 10-20 . When will peak foliage be this year up there?

Any suggestions would be helpful. Also along the way are there any areas with good waterfalls, firetowers or covered bridges or back roads areas by some ponds where there'd be good photography spots?

Thanks

I'd say you'll be past peak then. We're east (usually a later peak) and the trees are just about there and I imagine the rain will strip a good number of leaves. That said- it'll still be a great hike!
