Who has more beautiful foliage Vt or NH? Or are they both equal in beauty?

Both states have better fall foliage displays than central UTAH but are about the same as each other. Some have notices that there Vermont colors have a little more blue and New Hampshire’s are a little more red but that is changing with global warming.

I don't think that you can really say one has "better" than the other. I enjoy both state's foliage.
I really love the Monadnack region for foliage-Mt Monadnack in full bloom, plus I just love the area. Rt 9 in Vermont has a great foliage drive too.

This is the first time I have seen that allegation. I have lived here nearly 40 years and have looked a pictures going back more than 100 and I notice no change in that time period. Do you have any proof or documentation of these alleged changes?

Obviously NH has the better foliage. Actually I love Maine, Vt and NH for foliage any year . I love to drive and stop along the Kancamagus Hwy as it doesn't get much better than there.

Cosmonewman - I was making a reference to the political composition of the states. Vermont is more liberal hence blue – NH more conservative hence red
A Fall drive across through the notches or the length of VT Rt. 100 is a sheer joy. Try mid week because the dreaded “leaf peepers” clog the highways that time of year

Okay, so how is global warming tied into all of that?

Fight, fight, fight, fight, fight............oh..........this isn't high school?
The thread is about foliage colors. Not global warming. PM each other instead of starting something here. Better yet, start your own thread. That will be fun.

The foliage is the same...beautiful. The trees don't know where the state line is!

Well I drove to Concord today and there are DEFINETLY signs of fall. there were a lot of trees that had tweaks of red and yellow, some of them completely turned. I took a couple pics today of tree's on my block that have patches of red and yellow coming in on them.. Exciting for sure!!
