Trader Joe’s in Nashua to open July 16
Update on TJ's coming to NH.
Looking forward to their arrival.
NASHUA – A Trader Joe’s grocery store will open in Nashua on July 16, moving less than mile north from Tyngsborough, Mass., to the Webster Square shopping center on Daniel Webster Highway.
The new store, only the second in northern New England, will be 9,850 square feet, much larger than the Tyngsborough location, which is just over the state border south of the Pheasant Lane Mall.
The Nashua store will be the first of two Trader Joe’s stores in New Hampshire. The other will open Sept. 7 in Newington, on the Seacoast.
Trader Joe’s has been around for more than 50 years. Its wood-paneled walls and Hawaiian shirt-clad cashiers are a big part of the image. The company says that because it buys from manufacturers, not distributors, it can cut costs.
