Smile Land purchase?

I wish to put a down payment on some land next spring. Looking for 2-5 acres on which to live and raise my 2 children. Leaning toward Alexandria, Hebron, Bristol, Groton, Bridgewater area? Would hopefully like to have 2 horses and some chickens, and no building restrictions for a 1500-2000 square foot modular home. Any suggestions? comments? advice? Thanks for your time!

I myself have also been looking, not in your particular area but I have checked there too.
What I do for now is punch in a search for......"NH Land For Sale" OR "(town), NH" For Sale. You can choose price listings from low to high; acerage size; land, etc. Some of the sites will give you pretty much all the info you're looking for. These sites are just to give you an idea of $ and other info.; what's out there. My friends tell me the BEST way (if you can do this) is to go for a ride to these area's and look around. You May be able to find something without going through a Realtor. You know, the little Old Man sitting in the coffee shop. He May have some land he want's to sell.
I'm looking for a spot to park my RV on and go there once and awhile for a weekend camp trip and also to build a small home for when I retire. Somewhere around 10-20 acres near water (lake;river), woods and no one very close to you!
Is there such a place???
