Greg
I know you said you work for the democrats in new hamshire but your advice is a little off here my friend
are you on a recruitment drive to get more democrats in or something
I ask about schools , living etc and one of the reasons why I would move to New Hampshire is that it's more of a conservative state
now you say this for advice to me and someone else,
Londonderry was a very nice place to live when I moved in 25 years ago. Since then the population has tripled, the school system become extravagant, the taxes outrageous and the Saturday morning traffic unbearable. All the growth was in things I do not use or need with the exception of the library. The town has become almost unaffordable for anyone making less than 100 grand. It was nice but has become just another yuppiville
now when a californian (usually known to be liberal) inquires you say this
I suggest looking at Londonderry, NH. This is a very nice place with great schools and a decent, but not impossible, commute to Boston. I've been here for 24 years. The major change from southern CA will be the weather. This place can get as cold but not as much snow as the Serria Nevada mtns.
PM me for more info.
which is it Greg? you make the town sound like two different places

Ah, yes. You thought flip-flopping was limited to politicians. It even permeates into their helpers!

45% of Californian's voted for the guy that lost, er, I mean won in 2004.
I just arrived in NH. When I think of California, I immediately see the same thing most people do: L.A. - movie biz, yuppies, gangs, and cell phones. San Francisco: Liberal, gay & proud, great jazz. There is a much more to the state. Much of it is rural or desert, and trust me - they are WAY more conservative than in the cities.
So anyway, try not to cubbyhole 35 Million people quite so quickly.

Good points folks. I consider the education provided to be excellent. I think having huge athletic department building and teams traveling all over for games and whatnot are extravagant. IMHO opinion I think money should be spent on academics not athletics. So I am not entirely inconsistent. I can think that the school system can be both extravagant and excellent.
