rentals in lancaster (apartments, live, move to)

My family and are have decided to move to Lancaster NH, my husband just has a job offer there and we accepted. We like the town, the only problem is that we don't know anyone and can't really get a realistic and sinceren opinion about it. Right now we have to options, one 2 br apartment that is downtown, I don't know the exact address, but is a yellow one and it seems like is brand new, we saw it and we like it, but againg we are not sure about the location, the bridge is right next to it, and there's like a bar or something like that very close as well. The other one is one that I recently found at the Salmon press online, but we haven't seen it, and although it sounds good, how can we tell? The property is not downtown, seems like the person whose name is Jerry, a very nice guy, has other apartments there as well, but we just don't know, is anyone familiar with this guy and his properties??, if so, what can you tell me about my 2 options? Hi zeanny, I cannot give you any info on Lancaster, but there is a poster on here that lives in Lancaster. His screen name is nhyrnut. Go to search this forum, type his name, find one of his posts, and send him a direct message. He has always been helpful about sharing any info he has.
