Hi all,
I just wanted to gather some information on Keene NH since relocating there may be a serious consideration.
I am in my mid 20's and a post college graduate. I am seeking a town close to the outdoors. I enjoy fly fishing, hunting and hiking. Specifically, are there any good trout streams in the area? I would like to know if Keene is a outdoors oriented community or more suburban. I am considering Keene since I have found work there. As of now I currently live in new jersey which I feel is too urbanized for my tastes. I also am considering Denver and clearly very different than Keene a small town, but Denver is close to national forests.
Thanks!

I've lived in/near Keene for 10 years now and wish I could help but I am not much of an outdoors person. (Love living here though. )

I have seen people fishing in little lakes/ponds around here (e.g. in Swanzey). The Lakes Region isn't too far away for weekend trips, I imagine the fishing can be great there!

Sorry I can't help much but this will bump it up and hopefully others will chime in!
