My husband is Dutch and I am American. We have lived in Haarlem Holland for 4 years and are looking to relocate to the northeast. We will be making a trip to various areas of the northeast towards the end of the month. Does anyone have any particular opinions about Hopkinton, NH? We both work from home so the job market is not an issue but we do have a baby and education is very important. We are looking for a traditional new england town with low crime rates. We've also been looking into New London. If anyone has any suggestions, we would be grateful for your input. Thank you!!

Hi, and welcome to New Hampshire in advance! Just quickly, Hopkinton seems to be a very nice rural country town, but I don't know too much about the school system there. New London is a very expensive area, but a beautiful area....great views of the mountains, and a college town with many little restaurants and shops. Be prepared for high real estate and high taxes in New London. Hope this helped.
