Default Is there a difference in Northern & Southern NH?

Are there different personalities or ways of acting (mores) in the people from northern NH and southern NH? Different regions have different accepted ways of acting, so am wondering if this is true in NH?
For instance, southern Illinois is pretty hicky and down home, religious and small town minded; northern Illinois is more sophisticated, tolerant and cosmopolitan--even in the small towns, probably due to the influence of where 65% of the State's residents live: Chicago.
Any difference in the North and South of the State there?

south-central-west is a bit of a remainder. It's still got a more rural feel (not quite as rural as up north, but decidedly more than central-east) because it's farther from Boston. Kinda like an 'in between' of up north and the more populated central-east area.

I'm from the northern part of the state. If you like to do anything outdoors and meet lots of friendly people happy to do things outdoors with you, North is the place to be but work is very limited. Haven't lived in the south part of the state but if it's jobs your looking for, that's the part to be in.

Gee so much for giving my opinion. Someone gave me a negative remark with a quote simply saying "I disagree". For whoever disagrees, i'd like to know why you disagree.... not just give me a negative remark.

the local news stations (WMUR Channel 9) appears to forget that northern NH even exists. Out of sight, out of mind. They only carry stories about events that happen in the 'golden triangle'. Namely the southern border up to Concord.

Northern NH could be it's own state! LOL

Thanks. The moderator also took off my negative. after all, this forum is all about opinions and we shouldn't be marked negative just because somebody disagrees.

That is such a true statement but then again, there isn't much crime in Northern N.H. to make the news other than the petty thefts and burglary.
