I have another quick question about the Gilford area. Is there a Greyhound Bus Station anywhere near by within at least 20 minuets? The closest one I am seeing on the site is in Tilton. But never having been to this part of NH before, I have no idea if there are some better options {as far as distance etc}. Also is there a UPS store or service/package pick up center in Gilford?

I am not familiar with that neighborhood, but according to the Greyhound web site, Tilton and Meredith are the nearest towns serviced. Google Maps estimates Gilford-Tilton at 13.3 miles (24 mins) and Gilford-Meredith at 11.1 miles (21 mins).

I would think in Laconia you could find all of that..... But i doubt you will find any in the Gilford area. There is no real down town in the Gilford area to speak of.

Down load Google Earth and have a look...

What the heck are you doing in the Gilford area anyway? There is almost no reason to even want to go there. If you don't have friends or family there you won't be able to get around with out a car or a motorbike.

The bus by-passes Laconia? That seems strange.

I'm following a concert tour and one of the shows is in Gilford. Why there I have no idea. It is indeed strange, especially since I can't seem to buy GH tickets online for the Tilton area.

*lol* Gunstock that does sound like fun. But I'm going to see Marilyn Manson & Alice Cooper. I'm using Greyhound.com | Home and enter June 19th, one way from Reading PA-Gilford {Tilton/Meredith} NH. It's on the final screen that it says call or go to your local station to buy {Greyhound} tickets.

I too am surprised Greyhound doesn't list Laconia. It looks like the bus goes North from Concord via Tilton to New Hampton and then goes East on 104 to Meredith and then on to Center Harbor.

Maybe Greyhound Connect does offer a service to Laconia, but that looks doubtful.

yeah then Ossipee.... What i can't get figured is if it stops in these places why not laconia which is bigger than any of these places even if you combined 2 of them... Strange.

Synn....... Gunstock is a ski resort in that town. if the concert isn't there I wouldn't know where else a concert could be.

I will have a look using your criteria
