New Hampshire has one of the highest rates of marijuana use in the past month among 12 to 17 year olds with about one in ten adolescents (9.6%) reporting regular use according to the 2012 National Survey on Drug Use and Health (NSDUH).

well above the U.S. average of 7.6% of 12 to 17 year olds nationally reporting regular marijuana use.

when you go to the polls and don't know all the local representatives there is a great resource that rates every NH representative on their "freedom voting index" and tells you what they voted for and against- it's non-partisan so they judge and support both republicans and democrats.

Nashua crime has it's own thread, basically boils down to avoiding " tree streets, and french hill ".

This nation was not founded upon, nor was it designed to be, a nation of hand-outs. A helping hand to those truly in need is essential for society, however the never ending stream of entitlements to an ever increasing needy and unproductive underclass, at the expense of the producers, is ruining this country. Don't feel that you get a fair deal in the Granite State? Then move to Massachusetts...
Welfare is a separate problem. It's hard to say we're not giving enough when New Hampshire's overall welfare benefits package is ranked ninth-highest in the nation.

Massachusetts TANF can only be collected for 24 months, but once you run out the clock on EBT benefits in Massachusetts, just move to New Hampshire and continue collecting your cash benefits until you hit the Federal limit of 60 months.

Absolutely. But drug-need-driven-property/violent-crime is a problem of poverty, is not found among all groups and classes.

Your stats seem to mostly come from left wing socialist data which means nothing. People know how to beat drugs tests. Those "statistics" mean nothing. Go spend some time in the inner city for a couple weeks. Then you can come back and and say only 3% of the people there were abusing drugs or alcohol. But you will be lying or you were blind when you were there.

The internet has become a cesspool of left wing socialist propaganda that is anything but the truth.
All you people seem to be pulling up statistics from this place or that place, but how many of you actually lived in these areas, or even a home that required welfare and other assistance programs? How many of you have lived in poverty? How many of you have lived around other people just as poor or worse off? I’ve lived in Baltimore, MD my whole life and I’ve seen firsthand and been the person who needed benefits, and my parents weren’t on drugs. Neither were my neighbors. But the adults of the time didn’t make enough money, so they required the assistance. It sounds like a whole bunch of people who haven’t experienced something talking about what they don’t know, and it shows your ignorance. Before you speak on things, make sure you actually have some life experience with it.
