15 years and I never had a car fail. Find an honest mechanic. I've never used the larger chains.

Hate to be the minority here...I am moving from Connecticut.

In Connecticut, there are no car inspections. There are alot of dangerous cars on the roads. 3 times this year I have seen wheels that fallen off and injuries on the highway. I was nearly rear-ended 3 times too...I was lucky their brakes worked even if they were texting. Shiite vehicles broken down too and creating traffic jams too. They started using magnesium chloride on the road. That stuff eats metal faster than acid. Even when its dry it sucks moisture out of the air and continues to eat metal...twice my brake lines burst, and then the fuel lines started to leak....I had no idea because I didn't have to bring my car in for any work...I did it myself...my bad

So I guess I have to pay 40 bucks by 2x a year. My insurance is going to fall from 1600 to 1050, pretty much the same terms, except for some reason there are two deductibles, one for hitting an animal, and one for everything else.

I do remember being pissed about yearly inspection in Vermont..bald tires bad shocks once my throttle froze (heater riser rotted away) and I had to use the key to stop, but I was in my 20's at the time and I was not even aware that bad things happen.
