I like to zoom in on places a lot, and just happened to zoom in to the right place. You can't see it from farther out, it's only when you zoom in closer that the 45 degree view clicks in and there it is. I think I was looking at the marsh area on Hall Road and noticed the lovely junkyard on High Range and zoomed in to see it (you can't see it from the road) and there was the plane. You can use SMUR's link to see it yourself.

Here's another fun one if you want to check it out - I found it by accident too - plug these coordinates into Google Maps: 53.415876,-10.192394 and you should be able to see it.

What's cool is not only seeing the plane and its contrails but the reflection/ghost image of them too.

Google invented their maps just for me.

I had zoomed in and out and saw the plane seemingly go away. I just looked at these too 53.415876,-10.192394 ireland.

I use Google Earth and like looking back in time. Also on Google Earth you can visit the Titanic on the ocean floor. So far that is the only ship wreck I am aware you can visit digitally. I spent time seeking lost tall ships and can find none. There is a slew of U boat sights though.
