Angry Nh live free or die....yea right

I also just moved from TX to NH and I have my windows tinted on my car. You have to have your windows tinted in TX are you will die in the summer time. I understand why some states wont allow you to tint your side windows. Its so when you get pulled over the officer can see what your doing and if you have a gun are something. But I don't think NH has a bad crime problem or anything like that. I think the police in NH should grow a pair and suck it up. Also I think that if you move to a state and your car already has the tint on the windows you should be grandfathered in and should not have to peel the tint off. If NH wants to pay me back $300 I would be happy to take the tint off. Live free or die.....YEA RIGHT. I'm going to leave my tint on and if that means driving around with my windows down then that's what I'm going to do. I already found a place that will pass my car with the tint on.

I also have the titles to my cars. You have to show the out-of-state title to register your car.

If you are changing the vehicle's registration to a New Hampshire registration from another state, you will need to provide the following information with the application for the Certificate of Title:
  • The Certificate of Title issued by the other state or country (if not in English, include a notarized translation)
  • Whether or not any creditor holds a security interest in the vehicle
  • Any other information required by the DMV for the purpose of identifying the vehicle

Have fun sticking it to the state troopers. With that attitude, you'll be chewing hood paint before long.

Hopefully you won't kill anyone because you can't see jack out of those tints. I'm sure you have plenty of experience driving with at night in winter whiteout conditions down there in Texas.

Yup, you leave that tint right where it is. That'll show 'em! Have fun driving with your windows down this winter, and during the spring rainy season... sure seems logical to me Folks really should be researching a bit more before they make a move from one region of the country to another... If you don't like the laws here, there's 49 other states that might make you happier...

Not to mention the fact that there aren't a lot of street lights at night! As it is, down here we have constant street lights, and I still hate backing up in parking lots because I can't see out of the danged factory-decided back tinted window!
