There are always the Diners:

Peterborough Diner - Peterborough
Maryanns - Derry
Littleton Diner - Littleton

Just about ever small town or city in NH has a Diner. I suggest driving around and trying all of them.

FWIW - the Coachstop at the corner of 102 and 128 in Londonderry is pricy but very quiet and elegant.

We've got 2 great spots in Warner. The Foothills and The School House Cafe.

The Foothills serves a nice breakfast but I don't like the crowd.

The School House Cafe is owned and operated by a couple of local gals (who are the former talent of Foothills) and most locals prefer this spot.

I keep hearing about The Foothills but haven't had a chance to try it yet. Where is the School House Café? I haven't come across that one. Just had pizza from Charlie Mac's in Warner last night - excellent (and always tasty the next morning for breakfast).

School House Cafe is on Rt 103 in Davisville (which is part of Warner). It right next to the Davisville Flea Market and right across from the Milton Caterpillar shop. It's real close to exit 7 off I89.

Charlie Macs has HUGE pizzas!

Agree with GregW - Jitters in Pittsfield has just gotten better and better since it opened. I haven't had a sit-down breakfast there in awhile, but the muffins and pastries are outstanding - you can grab a couple and your Green Mountain coffee to go, and the service is very friendly. They're also carrying Stonewall Kitchen items and have a great atmosphere. Not sure how the atmosphere will be when they move the 100 feet or so down the street to the new location. If only more places like that could open up around here.

I hear the Northwood Diner (in Northwood, of course) is also very good.

Then there is the Dunkin Donuts out on 28... ;-)
