Cannon is open if you don't mind hiking for your turns. Certainly no crowds to deal with .

to the skiers in this posting- i do not have much experience with skiing in nh. but since i heard that mt sunnapee was purchased by the folks that run okemo(and that is one great place in vt if you can avoid the crowded days) i was planning on doing most of my skiing there.(weekdays only) any opinions on where i should ski? thanks.

Sunapee is a really fun mountain and is considered a family ski area. very nice and affordable (I only ski weekdays) - stay at the top (backside) for the morning runs because the sun will be in your face on the lifts and it's much appreciated

they also run specials where its 2 for 1 on some days - Loon and Cannon do the same thing.

Gunstock also has 2fer Tuesdays - they also offer night skiing -
