Smile Snow Pics

Hey everyone...

I was looking over on the Vermont thread, some have pictures posted from last winter, they are really beautiful. There was one of a person sking off his roof onto the front yard. Do you New Hampshirites(?) do that too..lol? I was wondering if anyone had pictures of NH at winter time last year? Pictures of Keene would be great. Someone mentioned the snow on Valentines Day too, I guess they got 3 feet of snow in a day. Was it really bad in NH too? I am also wondering what kind of weather we can anticapate around the 15th of Dec. Thanks, Suzette.

Well I can tell ya its been pretty cold here, I've been sporting the gloves all day long and at night comes out the winter coat, hat, mittens etc. My husband at work is wearing long johns, a turtle neck, his uniform and coat over it and saying its still chilly. Our highs have been in 30's 40's and lows in the 20's and teens. So expect cold. I'm looking at the weather channel and it looks like around the time you're here its highs in the 30's lows in the teens. But who knows we could have a blizzard and have highs in the single digits. Its all up in the air for ya girly. Just keep an eye on the weather channel. I don't have many pictures of Keene in the snow, we're suppose to get it Sunday Monday and Tuesday so if we do I'll be sure to send ya some more pictures. But the trees certainly look like they're ready for winter, most are bare now, some are still hanging onto their leaves but its suppose to be windy today so that might take care of that.. Here's a pic or two, the first is just called December in Keene.. Oh and I do know they will have the Christmas tree up in Central Square by that time all lit and everything

This is the bridge in Ashuelot Park

and the waterfall as you come over the bridge

This site has pictures around Keene and surrounding areas.

As always Tara, thanks for the beautiful pics. I love how the gazabo(sp?) looks. I wonder if the waterfall ever freezes over? I am looking forward to seeing the town Christmas Tree. We have our town tree in front of our Hospital, and about 6 years ago someone stole the "whole" tree!!! We couldnt believe it. So now we have another, not near as beautiful as the orginal one, with security cameras around it...Gotta love So Cali. It sounds like winter is coming to you guys brrr cold!! LL Bean here I come.

Gorgeous photos Tara! I can't wait to see the snow in Feb. I wish it could be closer to Christmas. It's just more magical to me than the 80+ degrees we get on Christmas
