Being unemployed for the first time in 38 years has offered me the opportunity to deal with the N.H. Uneployment benefits system. I have had to visit the office several times to sort out problems I have with the system and my situation. This weekend I met a gentleman who also admitted he was unemployed. I asked him what he thought about the NH unemployment compensation system and he emphatically replied "It sucks!"
I know the State is frugal with benefits - very frugal. How have others fared in collecting unemployment compensation benefits?

Like buck naked, I only ever collected once. It was a very easy process. They also offered lots of support in finding work, making resumes, etc. I could have squeeked by on what they paid me but I'm not one for sitting around so I went out and got a job.
