Question Wolfeboro / Lodging Question

Newbie question
I will be in Wolfeboro for Thanksgiving week - 2 adults and 10 year old
Does anyone have any recommendations for a reasonable place to stay ( within 5 miles of town center)
private bath, wi-fi and smoking allowed are a plus
thanks

I don't know where you can stay there but while you are there make sure you visit the wwII museum there (the name escapes me) it is an excellent museum depicting the USA during wartime---------you cant miss it--there is a tank coming out of the wall facing the street---------just ask anyone while you are there.

I had written up all about the Lake Motel right in Wolfeboro then found out that it was closed, it's only open from April to October, so sorry about that. There's the Tuc Me Inn located right in Wolfeboro, that's very popular, but again I don't know if it's open in November. One Inn that I know of that I know you'd really like, it's about 9 miles from Wolfeboro and it's a very nice Inn if you can get reservations here. It's called the Wakefield Inn and it's reasonable to stay here a night. You could call them to see what they have available and check online to see what I mean about it. It's pretty nice here and I know you'll like it when you see it online, we've driven by it so many times and it's always got no vacancy signs in the summer. Go to their site wakefield inn dot come to check it out. The Wakefield Inn is listed as a Bed & Breakfast and it's located at 2723 Wakefield Rd, Wakefield, NH 03872, The Innkeepers names are Lin and John Koch and to make reservations as soon as you can call (603) 522-8272 or (800) 245-0841.

Good luck!

The Museum in Wolfboro, is the Wright Museum. It is on Center St.

Don't know about anyplace right in Wolfboro, but Smith Cove Inn in Glendale is AWESOME. Totally restored Victorian right on the water, rooms are spotless, it is quiet and secluded. The Ruggerios own it, they have a site online.
