LOL will be below 0 there by morning. IMO select a town near I-93 south of Littleton 30 miles or so. Plymouth / Ashland. In winter there will be days your Bride will need to take a room there on not go to work, but that will be what it is, This will expand the areas for living, shopping etc work for you too. NH has more kinds of LEO's and work for LEO's than probably any other state.

It is a beautiful area. There will definitely be some culture shock, coming from Florida, and of course the weather will take some getting used to but I can't think of too many areas better to bring up young boys. I would second looking around the Plymouth area. I know Holderness has fairly low property taxes and well rated schools, but that might be a little too far of a trek for your wife. Either way, congrats and welcome to NH.
