Can anyone share their experience using T-Mobile in and around Manchester? I'm often traveling there and to outlying towns like Bedford, Merrimack, down to Nashua.

I understand that T-Mobile phones can be set to VoIP when at home and connected to Wifi. Has anyone tried this and how is the quality?

T-Mobile service is decent in Manchester and Nashua, but my experience is that the service is generally spotty outside these areas. Even in Manchester/Nashua, the signal strength varies quite a bit.

Get Verizon and call it done..

Im not sure about T-Mobile. but I can forewarn you not to make the same EPIC 2 year mistake I made by switching to Sprint. It was like Christmas switching back to Verizon.

I'll second Verizon for NH. I found their coverage to be excellent, even up in places like Lincoln, North Conway, etc...all solid LTE coverage this past fall when I was up there. I dropped T-Mobile due to their sub-par coverage outside metro areas...especially issues with slow data. I was happy with TMO in most places, but not all. Edge (2G) data was brutal when outside populated areas.

I've had ATT, Verizon and T-Mobile.

T-Mobile is just so much cheaper and the service is just as good. ATT & Verizon is a total rip off compared to T-mobile.

As have I (and Sprint, too), and to a point that is true. I had TMO for about 2-3 years before I switched to Verizon, and AT&T probably 6-7 years before that. I left AT&T to save money with TMO. But I found when I got off the "beaten path"I had data issues with T-Mobile. YMMV.

And, in NH, it is rather easy to get off the "beaten path" with TMO.
